Aberlour A’Bunadh

Hey guys! How's it going?.
.
I'm back with another review, this time we have an all time favorite of mine, the Aberlour A'Bunadh, here is batch 73.
The 73rd batch of Aberlour's famous A'Bunadh single malt has been matured exclusively in oloroso sherry butts. It's non cill-filtered and bottled at 61.2 ABV (cask strenght), this is a striking sherry bomb Speysider. If it's sherried brilliance you're after, then this is for you!
.
Here is my review:.
.
Nose: Strong oak notes and spices (cinnamon). Dark red fruit, also apricots, apples and raisins. Oranges and burnt sugar, think Creme Brulee.
.
Palate: You can really feel that 61.2 ABV with spices again, cinnamon and cloves, but also dark fruit like black cherries, dark chocolate and orange.
.
Finish: Spices linger on, like nutmeg. Dried fruit, think prunes or cherries.
.
Like I said, this is one of my absolute favorites, it never disappoints, no matter what batch it is.
Have you had any bad batches of A'Bunadh?
.
Cheers guys and have a great weekend!. 🥃✨🥃.
