Tamdhu 12 Year Old

Hey guys! How's it going?🙂.

We have another Speysider up for review. The Tandhu 12yo.
The 12 years spent in European and American barrels of Oloroso sherry in the first and second filling have excellently shaped the character of this Speyside whisky, enriching its aromatic profile with shades of cinnamon roll, candied orange and a little mint in the bouquet, translated into biscuit with raspberry jam and dried fruit to taste. We are dealing with an aromatic madness meant to mesmerize the senses, which keeps Tamdhu's promise to produce only "the best sherry whisky." The complexity and richness of taste prevail and the excellent aromatic balance turns the whole tasting experience into a truly memorable one because as sophisticated as it is, it is easy to drink. The exp is delivered by the most modern and revolutionary distillery in Speyside.

Nose: Spiced and minty oak, sweet candied citrus.
.
Palate: Forest fruit, bananas, oaky and dried fruit.
.
Finish: Long, spicy, with a hint of smoke.
.
Color: Amber.
.

Andrei Muresan

My name is Andrei, Andrei-Paul Muresan. I’m an IT professional, born in the wonderful year of 1982, in the heart of Transylvania (for people who don’t know, the heart of Transylvania is a city called Cluj-Napoca, located in Eastern Europe, in Romania to be more exact). As you might expect, given my profession, I’m passionate about technology and everything that surrounds it, but I am also a great spirits fan, and when I say spirits I mean scotch, whisk(e)y and cognac, and I also enjoy a good cigar (I never say no to a good cigar). I like to mix all that with a good tune and also a good game, I own a couple of game consoles. I am, by no means, an expert in the scotch/whisk(e)y/cognac/cigar world, but I am keen on learning everything there is to know about it, so I’m launching an invitation to you, to join me in this virtual journey as we learn together.
