Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select

Hey guys! How's it going?๐.
.
Time for another edition of #poptember , this time we have the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Tennessee whiskey ๐ ๐ฅ.
.
As the name suggests, Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is aged in a single barrel. In fact, only 1 in 100 barrels is chosen and positioned by master distillers in a special area of โโthe warehouse, where drastic temperature changes take place. This process, which requires a lot of attention and skill, influences the intensity of the color and taste of this expression. The Single Barrel is not as sweet as the standard product Old no. 7, however, like the other expressios in the range, its unmistakable taste is due to the filtration through maple charcoal, a tradition that distinguishes Jack Danielโs from the rest of the bourbons. However, Jack Daniel's always wants to specify that their whiskey does not fall into the bourbon category, but Tennessee Whiskey.
.
Here is my review:.
.
Nose: Honey, fruity, oaky almonds.
.
Palate: Caramel, honey oak and spices.
.
Finish: Long, fruity, woody, spicy.
.
Color: Burnt sugar.
.
Have you tried the single barrel range from Jack Daniel's? ๐.
.
Cheers guys and have a great weekend!๐ฅโจ๐ฅ.
