Jameson Black Barrel edition

Hey guys! How's it going?๐.
.
As promised, I'm reviewing all three of the St. Paddy's lineup I posted a couple of days ago.
.
This time we have the Jameson Black Barrel edition.
.
This is a blend made from a blend of grain whiskeys and malted and unmalted barley whiskeys distilled in a pot-type still in the Midleton Distillery. In general, corn is used in Ireland to create grain whiskey. The Midleton Distillery produces this expression once a year. The blend is aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, double charred.
.
Here is my review:.
.
Nose: Sweet black pepper. Ripe fruit, apples, apricots and caramel. An explosion of notes of caramel.
.
Palate: A very nice mix of fruit, spices and vanilla.
.
Finish: Medium, with spicy caramel.
.
Color: Amber gold.
.
All in all a pretty good Irish whiskey ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐ช๐ฅโ๏ธ.
.
What do you guys think about this one?
.
Cheers and have a great weekend!๐ฅโจ๐ฅ.
