The Macallan Classic Cut 2018 limited edition
Hey guys! How’s it going?.
It’s finally time for another review and I can finally taste this one which has eluded me for some time now. I managed to find it, by chance, I immediately pulled the trigger .
This is the Macallan Classic Cut 2018 limited edition. It’s a sherry cask, 51.2 ABV, NAS.
Here is my review:
Nose: Rich sherry notes, butterscotch and honey. Dried fruit, maraschino cherries, grapes, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cocoa, malt and spice.
Palate: Honey, nutty, with peaches and apricots with cinnamon and vanilla spice. Chocolate malt, dried cherry and orange peel and spicy.
Finish: Dry and spicy with wood notes, minty and a hint of grass notes.

This is a very good sherry cask whisky from Macallan, very well balanced and complex.
What do you guys think about this one? Have you tried the Classic Cut?.
Cheers guys and have a good one!
