Macallan 12yo Sherry Oak Cask
Hey guys! How’s it going?๐.
Summer is here but I still don’t know if I will be able to dip my toes the sea ๐.
To take my mind off things I’m chilling with this lovely 12yo sherry cask from Macallan and smoking this classic Wide Churchill stick. Awesome stuff.
Macallan Sherry Oak 12 yo is one of the most appreciated expressions in its age group in the world. For the Sherry Oak range, the producers use oak barrels seasoned with sherry imported from Spain, these being the most expensive types of barrels used to mature the varieties of scotch whisky. .
Here is my review:.
Nose: Rich and sweet vanilla aromas, with ginger accents, dried fruit and slightly smoky woody influences.
Palate: A velvety, elegant bouquet, dominated by aromas of dried fruit, fruit compote, spices and a splash of burnt wood.
Finish: Sweet, fruity, spicy.
Color: Amber.
So what do you guys think? How do you like this one?.
What’s in your glass this evening?๐ Cheers guys and have a great week!๐ฅโจ๐ฅ.
