Glasgow 1770 Whisky – Tripple distilled
Hey guys! How’s it going?🙂.
I’m back with another new whisky review 😎🥃.
This time we have the @1770whisky Triple Distilled release no.1. Thanks to the folks at @1770whisky for providing the bottle for the review.
Crafted from fine malted barley, distilled three times, matured in virgin oak casks, non-chill filtered and natural color, 46% ABV.
Here is my review:.
Nose: Rich vanilla, butterscotch, caramel toffee, roasted almond, white chocolate and dark fruit.
Palate: Creamy vanilla, caramel (reminds me of bourbon, that’s from the virgin oak), ripe apples, spicy with a hint of ginger and almonds.
Finish: Short, dry and pepper spicy with vanilla and oak.
Conclusion: It’s not bad at all 🙂, given that this is a young whisky and a non age statement at that. However, that being said, this is a well thought whisky and it could be appealing to bourbon and Irish whiskey lovers, yes this is because of the triple distillation and the virgin oak maturation.
So what do you guys think about this one? Is it appealing to you? Let me know in the comments 😉.
?
Cheers guys and have a great week!🥃✨🥃.
