Ben Nevis 10yo
Hey guys! How’s it going?.
For this Friday’s dram I have a very interesting one for you, it’s the Ben Nevis 10yo Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. I say interesting because this is one whisky I’ve been trying to get for some time, not only because it’s a very good whisky, but also because the distillery is owned by Nikka and it is used in Nikka blends. So you can imagine my curiosity 😄.
Alright, so let’s see how it tastes like. Here is my review:
Nose: Nutty and herbal, fresh with sweet citrus like oranges and a bit of lemon and a hint of smoke.
Palate: A bit dry, with dried fruit and citrus notes again, but also warm and spicy. Nutty again with toffee, peat notes and bitter sweet.
Finish: Long, warm and spicy with toffee and sweet fruit.
Color: Amber
I can firmly say that I really like this one. So the rumours were true 😄 I can almost taste a bit of Nikka here 😂😂😂.
What are your thoughts on this one?
