Giveaway! – Jura 21 Tide

Hey guys! How’s it going?

The holidays are fast approaching and what better way to get into the holiday spirit then with a great scotch whisky! 😊

And, as you might have guessed from the title, I am giving away one bottle of the Jura 21yo. Read on to see what you need to do to enter the giveaway for a chance to win this great whisky!

So this time around we have the Jura 21yo Tide for review and giveaway and what a lovely one it is. Sweet and smoky from 21 long years of maturation first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and further finessed with a spicy character from hand-selected virgin American white oak casks. It’s an exclusive 21 year old single malt: non-chill filtered, natural colour, bottled at 46.7% ABV.

Here is my review:
Nose: Butterscotch, creamy with vanilla, caramel and a touch of smoke, mixed with pear and lemon.
Palate: Sweet, honeyed, maple syrup. Gingerbread, white chocolate, marzipan, macaroons! Lemon curd and smoked coconut.
Finish: It’s fruity, with pears and lemon, but also caramel sweet at the end, followed by a hint of smoke.

Guys, this has to be my favorite Jura to date. It’s a lovely scotch, I will be splurging on this over the weekend for sure 😉.

Andrei Muresan

My name is Andrei, Andrei-Paul Muresan. I’m an IT professional, born in the wonderful year of 1982, in the heart of Transylvania (for people who don’t know, the heart of Transylvania is a city called Cluj-Napoca, located in Eastern Europe, in Romania to be more exact).
