Highland Park 12yo Viking Honour
Hey guys. How’s it going? So I’m continuing my Highland Park journey with round 2 π This time we have the 12yo expression π₯ Highland Park 12yo is the standard expression of the range and is characterised by a rich, complex and sophisticated aromatic profile. The brand is known for smoked barley before distillation, a method that gives a distinct flavour of black grass. The whisky is aged in sherry barrels, where it develops a rather sophisticated character for a young whisky π.
Here is my review:
Nose: Sweet notes of honey and black grass, supplemented by delicate smoke accents and slightly salty notes.
Palate: Ample flavors of malt, caramel, chocolate, orange peel and honey, discreetly shrouded in smoke.
Finish: Persistent, sweet, with smoke notes.
Color: Amber intense.
So here it is, a solid whisky from Highland Park ππ»π₯ I’m really starting to get into this π.
What is your opinion about this 12yo from Highland Park whisky? π.
Cheers guys! π π₯β
