Nikka From The Barrel
Hey guys. How’s it going? The weekend is upon us finally! π After a hard week I decided to crack open this really nice one from Nikka, the Nikka from the barrel.
Here is my review of the Nikka whisky from the barrel:
Nose: Spiced oak, orange zest and fruit, vanilla and pepper spice. This is a bourbon cask.
Palate: Toffee and spice, quite punchy. Caramel, vanilla and fruity with cinnamon and clove.
Finish: Long, well balanced, warm, fruity and a hint of spiced oak.
This is a very good and balanced blended Japanese whisky, full bodied with lots of character, it’s spicy and peppery on one side and fruity and rich on the other, very good stuff ππ» π₯π―π΅
What are your thoughts on this lovely one from Nikka?π
Cheers guys and have a great week π π₯β¨π₯
