G&T and Negroni – Chelsea Royal London Dry Gin
Hi guys. How’s it going? I’m back, again, with another mix post π This time I have a classic G&T and a Negroni “powered”by Chelsea Royal London Dry Gin π
I’ve already covered the Chelsea Royal gin in a previous post on Instagram here, where you can see my review of this lovely and refreshing gin.
Now, let’s talk cocktails π
Negroni
First, let’s try the Negroni, which is a bit more strong, since it mixes Campari 25% abv, Campari 15% abv and of course gin, which in this case it’s 43.1% abv.
This is a classic cocktail for all you sweet and sour mix fans π
- It’s also very simple to make. All you need to mix this is:
- Gin – I have the Chelsea Royal
- Sweet red vermouth – I have the Martini e Rossi
- Campari
- A rocks glass
- Ice
- Jigger
How to mix, ingredients and quantity:
- 50ml – Gin
- 50ml – Sweet red vermouth
- 50ml – Campari
Just pour all the ingredients over fresh ice, stir the combined spirits well, garnish with an orange peel.
And that’s it, you have yourself a nice and fresh Negroni! π
G&T – with a twist
So now that we have a taste of that Chelsea Royal gin in the negroni, let’s see how this works in a classic G&T, but with a slight twist, you’ll see what I mean in a minute π
Obviously, since it is a G&T, we need:
- Gin
- Good quality tonic water
- one Orange
- one Grapefruit
- one Lime
- a couple of blackberries
To mix it, just add:
- 1 part gin
- 2 or 3 parts tonic water
- garnish with one orange wedge, one grapefruit wedge, one lime wedge and a couple fo blackberries
- Stir a bit
And that’s it, you have yourself a great G&T with lots of fresh fruit “powered by”Chelsea Royal London Dry Gin π
